Reading Comprehension & Summary is one of the important strands in English Language. At SS 3 level, your goal is to consolidate understanding, diagnose misconceptions and practise examination-quality responses. Strengthen advanced communication, comprehension, writing, grammar and examination literacy.
How to learn this well
- Identify the important words, symbols, people, processes or rules connected to the topic.
- Explain each idea in your own words before memorising details.
- Connect the idea to a familiar example, diagram, text, event or problem.
- Check your understanding by answering without looking back at the notes.
